Louisville Photos and Debate Watch

Well, it was a good meeting yesterday, and I am sure everyone appreciated the pizza.
Thanks Roger Thomas!

On a different note for those of you who want to know what the Edward's visit to Louisville was then here are some pictures. Mind you these are some pictures of Kyle's experience at the Edward's fundraising dinner (which is why he's so close in the picture to Edwards.)
So here's the link.

Also, don't forget the debate watch is tommorrow from 6 to 9:30. Also, we start and end with conference calls, the first being with the Black Eyed Peas and the one at the end of the debate with the Ragin' Cajun himself. I don't know where and when those are at so come a bit before 6 and find the booth by the bell tower.

See ya then.

Recap of 2nd Meeting

For those of you who couldn't make it to the last meeting, here is a good recap.

First of all, we were visited by Democratic nominee Adam Smith who is running for 2nd district US Representative. He is one of the youngest candidates, only 26, in all of the Kentucky races. His website is http://www.1kyliberal.com/ and will be posted with other candidates' sites in a seperate sidebar soon. Next, State Representative Roger Thomas visited us. We were there for only a little while with him when he promised pizza for us at the next meeting (yes!)

These two candidates are very supportive of us and we need to back them up in their campaigns.

After that we elected our leaders, and here is the list.

Treasurer - Kevin Mercer
Public Relations - Sarah Cecil

WKU Dems - Edwards @ Louisville

Well, it is greatly appreciated that John Edwards came to this the great Commonwealth of Kentucky. Yes, we'd love him to come here to Bowling Green and we hope often. It's good to see that some WKU college democrats even got to go the distance and see John Edwads in person. Tim Morris, a sophomore and recent college democrat, even got interviewed by the Courier-Journal of Louisville. Tim and company heard a lot of things, and said maybe even more afterwards; however, Tim best summed his thoughts when he said to the Courier-Journal that "[Edwards'] a great man." There are plenty of events to get involved in local and national so you should not feel too left out, because there is plenty of campaign to go.
