Flickr For Your Photos

Well, I know you've probably seen the few photos we have on the facebook group, but now we have a new location for putting all of those great, and maybe not so great, WKU College Democrats photos. The place is called flickr, which is a free photo site (like YouTube for photos). Flickr has a lot of power, but of course it's also free.

We now have a group that you can find called WKU College Democrats, and when you sign-up and upload a few photos you can then 'tag' them to the group, if you so choose of course. I've already got a bunch up there, but feel free to upload all you want. Remember though the internet's quite public, so use your discretion, but you already knew that...

Ok, well hope you check it out then @ www.flickr.com!

Week after break....

Well, it's only been a week after Spring Break, and we've already been really busy.

First of all, we've had two tables set-up in DUC, for voter registration and just Democrat information. Also, we've had some campaign events, and will continue to do so. (Remember, check the events page for times.)

Tommorrow though we meet, so remember DUC 3rd floor (308?) @ 8:30 be there if you can. Hopefully the weather will be better by then.

Busy times

Well, it's been a while since a posting, and a lot has gone on since then.

First of all, many of us made a trip up to Frankfort to see the State legislature in session. Needless to say it was a fun and interesting time, and those who went got to meet many important people in the Kentucky state government.

In addition, Barbara Ehrenreich, a famous pogressive author and writer, visited our campus and spoke on many subjects from women's rights to the increasing amount of poverty in our nation. Many people, and not just College Dems, filled Van Meter auditorium for what was a great and entertaining lecture.

At this point, I'd like to segue and remind you that we have many events coming up as well, which are all listed on our events page. Trust me we have fun, and well many stories to tell afterwards, for better or worse.

So if interested, then please join us some time!
